Where to start with AI
- Full day
- For Executives
- On site
A hands-on, full-day workshop that turns a long list of AI ideas into a ranked shortlist and one first project. Your team scores every idea on business value and feasibility with the same method, decides what to start, what to prepare and what to stop, and leaves with a first project that has an owner and a clear goal.
Is this for you?
An executive with a budget and a long list of AI ideas: a P&L owner, a business unit head or a functional leader, together with managers from the business, finance and IT. It is not designed for a company-wide strategy; for that, see AI strategy & roadmap.
4 to 10 participants: one executive with their own team.
None required.
Core objectives
- 01Collect AI ideas across your value chain in one list
- 02Score every idea on business value and on data, technical and organizational feasibility
- 03Sort ideas into four groups: fund first, prepare first, solve with standard tools, revisit later
- 04Work out the top five, and define a first project with an owner, today's figure to improve and a 90-day goal
AI ideas arrive from everywhere: vendors, teams, competitors, the board.
Without a fair way to compare them, budgets spread thin, pilots multiply and the ideas with the most value wait their turn.
How it works
- 01 Where AI creates value
- 02 The long list
- 03 Scoring
- 04 The top five
- 05 The first project
The day moves from where AI creates value, to the long list, to scoring, to the top five, and ends with the first project. Before the workshop, we send a short questionnaire to your managers to collect ideas, hold three or four interviews and check which data is available.
Deliverables
- A scored long list on a value and feasibility matrix
- A shortlist of three to five ideas, each on one page
- A list of ideas to stop, or to solve with standard tools
- A one-page charter for the first project
